What services does USMLEMatchPro offer?
We offer comprehensive residency application support for international medical graduates (IMGs) through three structured packages: Basic ($2,000), Premium ($3,000), and Ultimate ($4,000). Every package includes a one-hour video consultation with a board-certified physician expert in your target specialty, unlimited support via email and text, and personalized guidance through the application process. Depending on the package you choose, services can include ERAS application review, CV optimization, personal statement editing, interview preparation, and rank list strategy.
Who are the consultants?
All consultations are conducted one-on-one with board-certified physicians who have direct experience mentoring IMG applicants. Our team has guided IMGs from diverse geographical backgrounds into top-tier residency programs across multiple specialties.
I am not sure which package is right for me. How do I decide?
Basic ($2,000): Ideal if you already have a solid application and need expert eyes on your personal statement, along with strategic consultation. Includes a one-hour video consultation with a specialty-matched physician, personal statement editing, and unlimited email/text support.
Premium ($3,000): Best for applicants who want a more thorough review. Includes everything in the Basic package plus ERAS application review and CV optimization, all reviewed with you one-on-one during a video consultation.
Ultimate ($4,000): Our most comprehensive offering. Includes everything in the Premium package plus two one-hour interview preparation sessions and rank list strategy guidance. This is recommended for applicants who want end-to-end support from application to Match Day.
Can I upgrade my package after purchasing?
Yes. If you start with the Basic or Premium package and later decide you need additional services, you can upgrade by paying the difference. Contact us to arrange this.
Consultations
What does the one-hour video consultation cover?
The consultation is tailored to your specific needs. It can include evaluating whether training in the U.S. is a viable path for you, reviewing strategies to strengthen your ERAS application, identifying and addressing gaps in your CV, brainstorming ways to enhance your candidacy (such as research, clinical rotations, or shadowing), and discussing alternative career pathways for physicians with extensive training from their home countries.
How do I schedule my consultation?
After completing payment on the Services page, visit the Scheduling page and click the black button. This will take you to a brief survey to help us prepare for your session. At the end of the survey, you can select a date and time for your consultation. You will receive a Zoom invite after completing the survey. Please review our Terms and Conditions before the meeting.
Why do I need to complete a survey before the consultation?
Your survey responses allow us to tailor the consultation to your specific circumstances, goals, and application stage. This ensures we make the most of your session time.
Can I book additional consultation sessions beyond what is included in my package?
Yes. Follow-up sessions are available as add-ons and can be booked directly from the calendar on the Scheduling page. Follow-up sessions are 30 minutes each.
Can I record the consultation?
We respectfully ask that you do not record the consultations. We are happy to answer any follow-up questions you may have via email or text after your session.
ERAS Application & Personal Statement
What does the ERAS Application Review include?
For applicants in the Premium and Ultimate packages, a physician expert will review your entire ERAS application with you during a video call. This includes your experiences section, personal statement, impactful experiences, and CV. The consultant will offer specific suggestions to strengthen the content and language of each component.
What personal statement editing services are available?
Personal statement editing is included in two packages - Premium and Ultimate. A physician-writer will review your draft and provide edits for style, grammar, sentence flow, and content. The depth of editing corresponds to your package level:
Premium: Content feedback in addition to style, grammar, and flow improvements. Ideal for applicants with an initial draft who need substantive edits.
Ultimate: The most comprehensive editing, including in-depth content and writing feedback. We will work with you to develop and refine your personal statement over multiple rounds of editing.
What is the turnaround time for personal statement edits?
All editing options have a turnaround time of 5 business days. We do not currently offer rush delivery, as we prioritize delivering the highest quality work on your personal statement.
How will I receive my edited document?
You will receive a marked-up version showing all changes, plus a clean version with the suggested edits incorporated.
Do you edit personal statements for all types of programs?
We edit personal statements for physician residency and fellowship applications only.
Interview Preparation (Premium and Ultimate Packages)
What does interview preparation include?
With the Premium package, you will get one one-hour prep session. The Ultimate package includes two one-hour video sessions dedicated to interview preparation. These sessions cover common residency interview questions, behavioral and situational scenarios, program-specific preparation, and techniques for presenting your story as an IMG applicant. You will also receive feedback on your communication style and delivery.
Can I purchase interview preparation as a standalone add-on?
Interview preparation is currently included only in the Premium and Ultimate packages. Contact us if you would like to discuss options.
Confidentiality & Satisfaction
Will my personal statement and application materials remain confidential?
Yes. All submissions and consultation content are handled with strict confidentiality.
What if I am not satisfied with the feedback I receive?
We aim for high satisfaction with every interaction. If you are not completely satisfied, please reach out and we will work to address your concerns.
